Actions Taken:
1. N. Fitzgerald presented the COA’s long-range capital plan: (1) lift equipped medical van @ $40K for FY10 & (2) mini-bus @ $60K for FY11.
2. W. Heitin presented a preliminary proposal to demolish the Sacred Heart Building for other recreation uses.
3. J. Bernstein presented the Police Department’s FY07 capital request: (1) vehicle replacement @ $93K.
4. D. Mann presented the Fire Department’s FY07 capital request: (1) protective equipment for the firefighters @ $37.5K & (2) Class 1 Pumper @ $520K. The Fire Department’s long-range capital plan included: (1) a brush truck @ $90K for FY08, (2) a Chief’s Command vehicle @ $40K for FY09 & (3) a fire substation @ $800K for FY09.
5. E. Hooper presented the Department of Public Works’ FY07 capital request: (1) Wilber Municipal Building Remediation @ $375K; (2) Sacred Heart Demolition @ $250K; (3) Street Reconstruction @ $600K; Sidewalks @ $150K & Departmental Equipment @ $150K.
Votes Taken:
1. MOVED by K. Goldberg, and duly seconded, that the minutes of the November 3, 2005 meeting be accepted. VOTED in the affirmative (4-0-2).
